Phillip Eugene Martin's Obituary
Phillip Eugene Martin, 61, a resident of Cherryvale, Kansas, passed the final mile marker on February 1, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO.
Born on September 2, 1962, to Robert Martin and Hazel Moore. In 1980, Phillip proudly served in the National Guard from 1980-1984. He embraced a lifelong career as a truck driver, finding solace in the vastness of the open road. An avid enthusiast, Phillip enjoyed attending races at Mo-Kan Speedway in Southeast Kansas, along with his love for fishing and working on model trains
Phillip is survived by his daughter Racheal Snook and her husband James of Copan, OK. Codi Martin and his wife Elizabeth of Kansas City, MO.
He leaves behind siblings David Martin and Becky Sexton, along with grandchildren Taelor, Brock, Layni, Jazmine, Patrick, Sophia, and Theodore. His legacy extends to great-grandchildren Karson, Baker, and Rhiannon. Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Martin and Hazel Moore, and his brothers Robin Martin and Randy Martin.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, KS. The family will receive friends at visitation from 10:00AM to 12:00PM prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fredonia City Cemetery in Fredonia, KS
Memorial contributions in memory of Phillip can be made to the Fredonia Avenue of Flags and may be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
