Phyllis Marie Fouch's Obituary
Phyllis M. Fouch, age 83, formerly of Howard, KS passed away August 22, 2015 after a 2 ½ year struggle with cancer. Phyllis was born November 16, 1931in Elk Falls, KS the daughter of Virgil and Vera (Kinsey) Rogers.
Phyllis loved to bake, make holiday candies, quilt, sew and read. She encouraged strong family bonds and was a devoted and loyal friend to many. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Fouch in 1986 and son; Gary Fouch in 2014, who also died of cancer.
She is survived by her son; Larry Fouch and wife LoRisa of Wichita, KS, grandchildren; Shelly Fouch, Brian Fouch, Jennifer DeBrot, 5 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, KS. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society and may be left with the funeral home.
