Phyllis Eileen Gardner's Obituary
Phyllis Eileen Gardner, age 83, of rural Fredonia, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at her home. Phyllis was born on June 10, 1929 in Perry, Oklahoma the daughter of Ernest Charles and Ethelyn Elizabeth (Bates) Busch.
When Phyllis was a child, she was neighbors and played with Shirley Temple. She had a huge collection of Shirley Temple items. She loved to tap dance and go ice skating. On July 2, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas, Phyllis was married to Raymond Gardner. Phyllis and Raymond were married for 34 years until his death of April 7, 1983.
Phyllis was a homemaker, she enjoyed raising her children, and when she could attend events for her grandchildren. She enjoyed all types of family events and going to each of her children’s homes to spend time with them. In her spare time she enjoyed sitting out on her porch listening to her wind chimes and watching the hummingbirds.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, son Donald Ray, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Cremation has been requested, memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. at Countryside Funeral Home with Pastor Dylan Ector officiating. .
