Polly Elizabeth Henry (Galey)'s Obituary
Polly Elizabeth Henry age 26, of Toronto, Kansas passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at K.U. Medical Center, in Kansas City, Kansas. Polly was born in Brighton, Colorado on February 22, 1987, the daughter of Clint and Jane (Bailey) Henry.
On October 13, 2007 she married William Galey in Independence, Kansas, and later divorced.
To this union one child was born, Adam Lee Galey.
Polly was a homemaker, and most importantly a mother. She was a member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints, loved the library, being outdoors, and going to Black Powder rendezvous.
Survivors along with her son Adam include:
Parents: Clint and Jane Henry of Toronto, Kansas
Brothers: Harold Henry of Udall, Kansas; David Henry of Moline, Kansas; Michael Henry of Kansas City, Missouri; Clint Henry of Elk City, Kansas; Tony Henry of Independence, Kansas.
Sisters: Nancy Renfro of Toronto, Kansas; Bonnie Humphry of Fall River, Kansas; Christina Henry of Elk City, Kansas.
22 nieces and nephews, and 1 great-niece and 1 great-nephew.
Polly was preceded in death by: her grandparents Frank and Lillian Bailey; Ed and Lela Henry, one uncle, Marvin Henry and one aunt, Mozelle Wood; and great-nephew Santiago Phoenix Avalos.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 19, 2013 at Church of the Latter-Day Saints, in Iola, Kansas, with Bishop Harry Lee officiating. Burial to follow at Little Sandy Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, July 18, from 5-7 PM at Countryside Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation at 10:00 AM Friday, July 19, at the church.
