Ramon Borjas' Obituary
Ramon Borjas, Jr., age 74, of Kansas City, Mo., died Monday, December 23, 2013 at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.
Ramon was born in Chanute on November 24, 1940 the son of Ramon and Matilda Godinez Borjas.
He is survived by his children; Rich M. Edmonds and wife Alicia, Ruben J. Edmonds and wife Karen, all of Lawrence, KS, Tony R. Eck and wife Stacy of Wichita, KS, Ramon Borjas III and wife Juliette of Elgin, S.C., Mary Yvette Borjas of Salina, KS, brothers; Joe M. Borjas and wife Jean of Topeka, KS, Cecil J. Borjas and wife Patty of Kansas City, KS, Richard R. Borjas and wife Ann of Joplin, MO., Benny R. Borjas and wife Robyn all of Chanute, KS, Rueben R. Borjas and wife Angie of Gardner, KS; sister; Maria D. Rita of Chanute, KS, stepmother; Isabelle (Hazel) Borjas of Chanute, KS, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Mauro and Theodora Borjas and Jose and Serafina Godinez, parents; Ramon Sr. and Matilda “Tilly” Godinez Borjas, son; Raymond Eck, and aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel.
