Raymond Leroy Shipp's Obituary
Raymond Shipp, 76, of Chanute, KS passed away on May 17, 2018 in Neodesha, KS. He was born to Delbert and Lexie Shipp on September 17, 1941 in Pontiac, MI. He married Sandy Shipp and she preceded him in death. He then married Linda Jensen-Shipp on December 7, 2002 in Erie, KS. She preceded him in death on April 18, 2018.
Raymond was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa who loved motorcycles. He was the type to help anyone in need, and was a great support to his wife, Linda, during her battle with cancer. Raymond proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Eagles, Moose Lodge, American Legion, and was especially active with the VFW.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Sandy Shipp and Linda Jensen-Shipp, and daughter, Candy Watson.
A visitation will be held at Countryside Funeral Home – Johnson Chapel in Chanute, KS on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 2-4:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com. Chanute Honor Guard will be in charge of military honors. Memorials have been suggested to the Raymond Shipp Memorial Fund and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS. 66720.
