Richard Lee Bradford's Obituary
Richard Lee Bradford age 63, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 as the result of a farm accident. Richard was born on July 15, 1955 in Neodesha, KS the son of Walter Lee and Carol M. (Green) Bradford.
Richard was a graduate of Altoona Midway class of 1973. On March 20, 1976 in Altoona, Richard married Debbie Stephenson. Richard and Debbie have been married for 42 years and she survives at their home.
Richard was a lifelong farmer in Wilson County , with a strong work ethic, that he passed on to his children. He served on the Wilson Co #10 Water Board as Chairman for many years. Richard was also the driving force for forming the PWWSD #23, and served as the board president since its inception. Most of all, Richard loved his family, and watching his grandchildren grow.

Richard was considered a second “Dad” to Zach Brinkmeyer.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Neodesha United Methodist Church, with burial to follow at the Thornburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to the: Bradford Grain Memorial Scholarship and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
