Richard E. Chilson Sr.'s Obituary
Richard E. Chilson Sr. of Fredonia, age 60, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Fredonia Regional Hospital, after being ill for some time. Richard was born on October 23, 1950 in Asylum Township, Towanda, Pennsylvania, the son of Harry Franklin and Irene Mae (Jennings) Chilson.
On April 22, 1972 Richard married Sharon Jean Mulno in Nicholas, New York. Richard and Sharon were married for 38 years. Sharon survives at their home. Richard worked in maintenance for Dupont several years before moving his family to Kansas in 1990.
Richard drove truck for the Alfalfa Mill in Fredonia, prior to his illness. Richard enjoyed fishing and hunting deer. He enjoyed being at the lake and playing his guitar. Richard was a quiet man who kept to himself and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time at the area lakes. Richard loved his family dearly.

Richard was preceded in death by brothers: Frances and James Chilson
Cremation has been requested. A memorial service will be planned for early this spring at the Fredonia City Cemetery.
