I worked with Rich at Orschelns in Independence for many years. He was great at helping people. He would go out of his way to solve the customers problems. He would do anything for you. He was a great guy and will be missed by many including me. Prayers for his family.
I'm so sorry to learn, of the passing of Richard. He has always had a very special place in my heart and I cried as I saw his obituary in the paper. He will be forever missed. I was involved in a near death car accident, on May 14th 2004 and Richard happened to be on call. I could tell he was sad, that he found out it was me. He spoke calmly to me and let me hold his hand and he stayed with me for a while, at the hospital as we all waited for life flight to come in. He checked in with me not long, after I was home and making sure I was ok. Condolences and prayers to the family. I will forever cherish the chats and waves.
