Richard Dean Noland's Obituary
Richard Dean Noland, age 83, of Erie, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 in Andover, Kansas. Richard was born on September 28, 1932 in Rural Chanute, KS the son of Fae & Mary (Hoffman) Noland.
In 1959 Richard married Patricia Young and they were married for 46 years until Patricia preceded him in death. On April 17, 2009, Richard married Catherine (Johns) Thomas in Miami, OK. She survives him at the home.
Richard was a truck driver and he was very hard worker who was devoted to his job. He worked as an over the road driver for many years and later worked for Ruan hauling cement. He was also a family man who had many children and step children that he enjoyed spending time with when he was not working. He loved animals and raised toy poodles, donkeys, goats, and recently guineas. He also like to fish and repair lawnmowers when he had the time.
