Ricky Ray "Rick" Rutter's Obituary
Ricky Ray “Rick” Rutter, age 61, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Guest Home Estates in Chanute, KS. Rick was born January 21, 1954 in Manhattan, KS the son of Lyle and Helen (Burke) Rutter.
Rick graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1972 and then graduated from Wichita State University. Rick worked as a consultant for several aviation companies. Rick was an avid golfer and loved spending his free time on the course. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Rutter.
Rick is survived by his dad and step mom: Lyle and Darlene Rutter, daughter: Jennifer McDonald and husband Matt of Chanute, brothers: Mike Rutter and Judy Church of Mason, Ohio and Mark Rutter and wife Pam of Wichita, KS, and four grandchildren and one great grandkid.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at the Tannehill Cemetery in Arkansas City, Kansas. Family suggests memorials to the Gentiva Hospice and may be left with the funeral home.
