Ricky Lee Walker's Obituary
Ricky Lee Walker, age 59 of Fredonia, passed away May 3, 2020 at him home.
Ricky was born October 24, 1960 in Fredonia, KS to Marvin and Helen (Hughes) Walker. He was raised in Fredonia alongside 9 brothers and sisters, attending Fredonia schools.
He loved rock and roll music and was known to hitchhike to Wichita to go to concerts on many occasions. He never worried about how he would get home, he always said he’d find someone there from Fredonia and get a ride with them. He never met a stranger, and if he liked you, he liked you and you knew it. If he didn’t like you, you sure knew that as well. Ricky loved eagles, and collected anything and everything that had an eagle on it.
Ricky mowed yards for a living, and probably wore the tires off several mowers over the years. He would push it from one end of town to the other to take care of his customers.
Ricky was well known and well loved by many. He will be missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his brother:
Roger (Debbie) Walker of Fredonia
Sisters:
Ronda (Jerry) Cunningham of Fredonia
Kathy (Wayne) Powell of Fredonia
Carolyn (James) Black of Neodesha
Debbie (Randy) Collins of Tulsa
Many nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents; Brother, Donnie; Sisters, Connie, Donna, and Stacie
Cremation has been requested.
