Robert B. Wood's Obituary
Robert Benjamin "Bob" Wood, age 79 of New Albany, died Friday April 30, 2010 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Bob was born November 12, 1930 in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Delbert John and Louise (Mason) Wood.
On January 30, 1952, Bob went into the U.S. Army where he served until November 29, 1953, reaching the rank of Corporal. On August 13, 1953 in Fairmont W.V., Bob married Norma Jean Martin, they were married for 56 years. Norma survives at their home.
Bob retired from General Motors where he worked as a Die Maker.
