Robert Riley Beck's Obituary
Robert Riley Beck, age 82, of Humboldt, KS, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at NMRMC in Chanute, KS. Robert was born on January 1, 1935 in Chanute, KS the son of Clifford Riley and Bertha (Pruitt) Beck. He graduated from Valley Center High School in 1953.
On July 4, 2012, Robert married Mary Lou Montgomery in Last Chance, Colorado. Mary survives him at their home.
Robert worked as a systems design engineer for a defense contractor. He also served in the United States Navy. Robert would play golf daily and also enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Chanute and loved going to church and getting to know everyone.

Cremation has been requested.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Chanute, KS. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. Memorials have been suggested to God’s Food Pantry with the First Christian Church and may be mailed to the church at 102 N. Grant, Chanute, KS 66720.
