Robert Dean Bond's Obituary
Robert Dean Bond, 72 of Buffalo, Kansas passed away at Heritage Healthcare in Chanute, Kansas on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
Bob was born on September 24, 1953 the eldest child of Dean and Mildred (Nybeck) Bond in Tacoma, Washington. After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in Tacoma, Bob attended Technical College specializing in fiber optics. Bob worked with his brother operating a landscaping company many years. Bob was very artistic; he was a fabulous wood carver and concrete sculptor.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Mildred Bond, brother, Dan Bond, and sister, Vicki Dale.
Bob’s memory will carry on with his daughters, Amy Bond and Leah Turner, sisters, Julie (Jack) Shiver), and Lori (Ralph) Ulrich, brother, Gene Bond and 3 grandchildren.
Cremation will take place under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
