Robert Wayne Joy's Obituary
Robert Wayne “Bubba” Joy, age 54, of Fredonia passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at his home. Robert was born on May 25, 1958 in Fredonia the son of Estel and Shirley (Dannels) Joy.
Robert was a person who enjoyed life. He was baptized at the Baptist Church in Neodesha. Robert enjoyed being with his family and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors searching for coins with his metal detector, or hunting for arrow heads, or going fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, whenever he could.
Robert worked as a brick mason for many years. A lot of his work can be seen around Fredonia, including some of the new concrete work around the courthouse. Robert will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Mother; Shirley Hartman and step father Garry Hartman of Andover, KS
Sisters:
Gayle Fritzmeier of Chanute, Ks
Debra Davis of Andover, KS
Numerous nieces and nephews
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Estel Joy and sisters; Angela Pope and Sandra Briley
Cremation has taken place, a graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the Weakly Cemetery near New Albany. Memorials have been suggested to either the American Heart Association or to the Road to Recovery LLC and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
