Robert “Bob” Eugene Lassley, age 74, of Fredonia, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at his home. Robert was born on August 22, 1938 in Wichita, Kansas the son of John N. and Nancy Effie (Owens) Lassley Sr. Robert graduated from Pie Read Obituary
Robert was a great friend to those of us at the senior center & those who were part of Meals on Wheels there. He was so generous with donations to us of goods to be used with the meals, with coffee, supplies. He checked on us almost every day & always had a good word for us. Robert truly loved his family. He talked constantly of all of you. Any time somebody got engaged, got married, had a baby, did something exceptional at school, he would come in and share about the family. He was very proud of all of you & loved you very much. Every time there was a newspaper clipping, he would come in and show me & tell me what was going on. He will truly be missed at the center & in this community. We will forever be looking for him out walking & waving to all of us. He was a very kind hearted, friendly man to everyone. Marilyn Whitson
