Robert Charles Ramey's Obituary
Robert Charles Ramey, 74, of Fredonia, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at his home. Robert was born in Fairland, Oklahoma, one of twin boys to Harvey Clarence and Lavanda Delee (Meyers) Ramey.
Robert was a Neodesha High School graduate class of 1968. Robert loved working on his farm and raising cattle, off the farm, Robert had worked at Cleavers Farm Store, Custom Forms, where he was a welder and foreman. Robert also served as a Police Office for Neodesha and retired as a rural mail carrier in the Neodesha area after many years.
Robert enjoyed riding horses and was a member of the Fredonia Saddle Club. He served on the Wilson County Fair Board and loved helping with the rodeos. He was also a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church. Robert loved playing cards, was always a jokester, never met a stranger and could talk for hours.
On August 7, 1971, in Neodesha, KS., Robert married Cherryl K. Wilson. Robert and Cherryl raised their family together for 51 years until her death of June 17, 2023. Robert enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his family and friends, a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He also shared a special love for his dogs Bear and Missy.

Robert was preceded by his parents, wife Cherryl, and a sister Beverly Hendrix
Cremation has been requested. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life service at a later date. Memorials have been suggested to either Fredonia Pound Pals, or the Wilson County Fair Association, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
