Robert Emanuel Ware's Obituary
Robert Emanuel Ware, age 84, a resident of Moline, Kansas passed away
Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at his home. He was born on December 17,
1928 in Grenola, Kansas the son of Charles Wilson and Eva Frances
(Hankins) Ware.
Robert was a lifelong farmer and rancher in Elk County. He was
employed by Elk County Road Department for 26 years and was the road
foreman for many of those years. He enjoyed woodworking and made many
picture frames that he gave to family and friends. On November 8,
1949 he was united in marriage to Alene McGlasson and to this union
was born three children. She preceded him in death on June 6, 1978.
On October 12, 1984 Robert was united in marriage to Marla Gayle
Foster in Howard, Kansas.
He is survived by his wife Marla Foster Ware of Moline, Kansas, two
sons; Robert Ware of Tampa, Kansas and Tom Ware of Moline, Kansas, one
daughter Connie Carter of Moline, Kansas, three grandchildren and two
great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents,
one brother David Ware, one sister Twyla Mahood, and one grandson
Benjamin Ware.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at
1:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola, Kansas with Pastor Robin
Haines officiating. Friends may stop and register Friday from 11:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family suggests memorials to
the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and may be left with the funeral
