Roger W. Collins' Obituary
Roger Wayne “Rog†Collins, age 63, of Fredonia, Kansas, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at his home. Roger was born January 19, 1949 in Fredonia, the son of Willard Lee and Norma Sue (Cook) Collins.
Roger was a graduate of Fredonia High School class of 1967. He was a member of the Methodist Church, National Rifle Association and the “Good Ole Boys Clubâ€. He worked as a Foreman in the Oil and Gas Field industry; he also enjoyed taking care of his farm.
On May 28, 2005, Roger married Peggy Lee Scheidt, she survives at their home.

Kevin and wife Becky Collins of Strong City, KS

Three Grandchildren: Teel and Autumn Short and Dakota McRoy
And many nieces and nephews
Roger was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Countryside Funeral Home with Pastor Susan Galvin officiating, burial to follow at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 6-7:30 P.M. at the funeral Home. Memorials have been suggested to either the Wilson County 4-H Club or The American Heart Association and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
