Roma D Wunderlich's Obituary
Roma Dare Wunderlich, a resident of Piedmont, Kansas and formerly of North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at her home in Piedmont. She was born in Beulaville, North Carolina the daughter of Foy and Esther (Wallace) Kennedy.
Roma worked many years doing clerical work and worked in the banking industry. On April 29, 1994 she married Micky Wunderlich in Howard, Kansas, and they made their home in Piedmont. Roma loved to spend her time cooking.
She is survived by her husband Micky of the home, two step-sons; Michael Wunderlich and wife Amber of Derby, KS., Gabriel Wunderlich and wife Marlana of El Dorado, KS., daughter-in-law; Ann Miller of Beulaville, N.C., brother; Jim Kennedy and wife Jean of Charlotte, N.C., sister; Jo Bobbitt of Charlotte, N.C., mother-in-law; Shirley Wunderlich of Piedmont, KS, grandchildren; Lesley and Kerry Miller, and Kayla Wright, Landon, Raylan, Kyler, and Caden Wunderlich, and many nieces and nephews.
Roma was preceded in death by her parents, a son; Paul Darien Miller, and step-daughter; Jeris Wunderlich.
Memorial services will be held Monday, October 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Countryside-Zimmerman Funeral Home with Pastor Robin Haines officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.
