I remember as a child camping out at Grandpa & Grandmas house and being woke up early in the morning hearing Ronnie talking. Sometimes it seemed as though he was up prior to the roosters! 😊
Ronnie would walk to the Post Office and gather mail for all those that couldn't get to the Post Office (you know New Albany traffic) and hand deliver it to their front doors. He got such joy out of helping others.
Other times Ronnie would be on hands and knees pulling weeds, clearing sidewalks or planting flowers and he was happy as a lark as long as he was working.
I remember countless occasions when Ronnie and us kids would go back & forth in conversation picking on each other. He would call us a "meanie" and we would lay it right back on him.
Ronnie always seemed to have perfect timing when he would sneak up behind us kids, poke us in the ribs while letting out a blood curdling screech and just scare us silly!
He loved his family, friends, neighbors and his fellow Church members but most of all he loved God! He was loyal to the Church and was always there to lend a helping hand.
Ronnie was the sweetest soul you could ever meet. He is irreplaceable and will be missed dearly.
