Ronald Lee Ewing's Obituary
Ronald Lee Ewing, age 71 of Moline, KS, passed away November 8, 2022 at Sedan City Hospital in Sedan, KS.
Ron was born November 6, 1951 in Holton, KS to Clyde and Marie (Gustufason) Ewing. He grew up alongside 2 sisters and a step-brother, and graduated from Caruthers High School in Fresno, CA.
After High School, Ron enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving his country. He then drove a semi as a professional mover, moving families all over the country. He married Cindy, and they later divorced. He then married Cheri. Although they later divorced, they have stayed good friends.
Ron has 5 children, and as a family, they enjoyed fishing, camping, doing barbeques, and going out on Ron’s boats on just about every lake around. They lived in Wichita, then moved to the Severy and Howard area, before moving to Minnesota for a while, and found their way to Moline 7 years ago. He was enjoying his latest job as delivering meals to residents for the Meals on Wheels in Moline. His other love was for his 2 dogs. He enjoyed his daily walks with them.

Grandchildren: Alex, Lindsay, Miranda, Lucais, Chista, Ravin, Kory, Abigail, Damian, Emaya
Great-grandchild, Korbyn
His 2 dog buddies, Harley and Zeva
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-brother, and sister Sharon
Memorial service to honor Ron will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, KS.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Chautauqua County Animal Shelter and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
