Ronald Keith Finuf, 77, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away on 10/06/2024, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, KS.
Ron was born November 4, 1946 in Winfield, Kansas, the son of Richard Keith Finuf and Marjorie Elena Underwood Finuf. Ron graduated from Derby High School in 1965. He served in the Army National Guard and Air National Guard. Ron married Donna Marie Hack Finuf on April 15, 1967. Celebrating 57 years together. Ron retired from Winfield Consumer Products and previously worked for Cessna and Rubbermaid. He especially loved fishing, helping Donna with crafts, and was an avid music enthusiast. Ron was a member of The Church of Christ. He loved the Lord and loved to serve others.
Ron was a wonderful father to his son, Rick and daughter-in-law Jennifer.
Being a grandfather to his 4 grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter was the light of his life.
Remaining to cherish Ron’s memory are Donna, his wife; children, Rick (Jennifer) Finuf, Chanute, KS; grandchildren, Cameron Smith, Chanute, KS, Richard Finuf, Ottawa, KS, Chandler (Alayna) Finuf, Chanute, KS, Carter Finuf, Chanute, KS; great-grandchildren, Aliannah Smith, Fargo, ND; sister, Patricia Buerman, Shawano, WI; nieces and nephews, Georgie Buerman, Mark Buerman both of Shawano, WI, David Gill Ponca City, OK; sister-in-law, Dorothy Cantwell, Ponca City, OK.
Preceding Ron in death are his parents Keith and Marjorie Finuf.
Memorial donations in Ron’s memory may be directed to Church of Christ, 1113 County Club Rd. Winfield, KS 67156. Arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home.
