Ronald Neil Gossett's Obituary
Ronald Neil Gossett, age 73, of Chanute, KS, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute. Ronald was born on February 26, 1944 in Chanute, KS, the son of Franklin and Eva (Shephard) Gossett.
Ronald graduated from Chanute High School in 1962 and then attended Chanute Junior College. On October 12, 1963, Ronald married Vickie Gardner in Chanute, KS. She survives him at their home.
Ronald worked as a pipeline welder and is a lifetime member of the Pipeliner’s Local 798 in Tulsa, OK. Ronald enjoyed hunting and fishing and first picked up hunting while he was welding on a pipeline in Wyoming. Ronald was a member of the NRA and Buckmasters.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Miley.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel at 101 N. Highland in Chanute. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute, KS. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. Memorials have been suggested to the Tri-Valley Developmental Center and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
