Ronald Lee "Skeeter" Raida Jr.'s Obituary
Ronald Lee “Skeeter” Raida, Jr., age 50, of Buffalo, KS passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, KS. He was born on February 16, 1969 in Chanute, KS the son of Ronald Lee, Sr. and Joan (Tubbs) Raida.
On June 4, 2014, he married Kristen Joyce outside of Altoona, KS. Skeeter was hard worker and enjoyed driving trucks and working on vehicles. He enjoyed fishing, hunting coyotes, being outdoors and growing watermelon and eating them out of the garden. He also enjoyed mushroom hunting and participating in mud runs. Skeeter loved kids especially babies. He most of all loved his family and spending time with his kids. He will be greatly missed.

Skeeter was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Junior Raida; maternal grandfather, Billie Sellers; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Harold Herrm; maternal grandparents, Elenor and Wallace Griffin and grandmother-in-law, Donna Joyce.
Cremation has been requested. The family will greet friends and family on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the Thayer Christian Church in Thayer, KS. A memorial service will be on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Thayer Christian Church. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. The family suggests memorials to be made to River and Saylor Raida Educational Fund and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
