Joe Nichols
Ronnie and I became friends when we both worked for my father-in-law, Joe Tindle, at Longton Dehydrating and Milling. This was in the early 1980's. I enjoyed work because of Ronnie. His dry since of humor could not be matched. He took me fishing S.W. of Longton once to a place on the Elk River named Chamberlain Ford. He showed me the old crossing that the old timers used. We probably didn't catch any fish but I enjoyed the outing with him more then anything. I also recall going out to the farm one morning to help work calves. It was just me and Ronnie but being around a good friend made work enjoyable. I always admired Ronnie due to the fact that he had the God given ability that he could do about anything. In his day there was no Google, just encyclopedias and good teachers! I pass along my sincere condolences to the family of Ronnie Vestal. He will always be my friend.
