Rosabell Callarman's Obituary
Rosabell Callarman, age 82, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Rosie was born June 14th, 1932 in Chanute, KS to Thomas “Odea” and Myrtle (Roberts) Smith.
She married Lewis Gerald Callarman on December 24, 1946 in Iola, Kansas. Rosie enjoyed playing guitar and singing, fishing, playing bingo and she loved canning, growing and taking care of flowers and her pets. She attended Buffalo United Methodist Church in Buffalo, Kansas.
Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lewis, son; Steven Ray Callarman, sister; Olive Marie Reed, brothers; John Paul Newton and James William Newton, grandchild; Wade James Wasson, great- grandchild; Caleb James Wasson and son in law; Tim Borton.
Rosie is survived by her children: Mickey Callarman and wife Marcy, Janice Welch and husband Nathan, Barbara Blair and husband Ray and Linda Catterson and husband Guy, all of Chanute, KS, and Gerald Callarman and wife Debbie of Thayer, KS. She has 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside services for Rosie are planned for Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute, KS.
