Rosalie Wussow's Obituary
Rosalie Wussow, age 76, a resident of Haysville, Kansas and formerly of Elk Falls, Kansas passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the St. Francis Harry Hynes Hospice Unit in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on December 20, 1936 in Latour, Missouri the daughter of Harley and Emma (Hunt) Stumpff.
On May 19, 1956 Rosalie was united in marriage to Lloyd A. Wussow in Topeka, Kansas. Over the years Rosalie worked for ACC in Independence, Kansas, Palmer Drilling of Longton, Kansas and for a shoe factory in Missouri. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing but most of all Rosalie loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Rosalie is survived by two sons; Ron Weber of Independence, Kansas and Mike Wussow of Haysville, Kansas, two daughters; Debbie Wood of Elk City, Kansas and Kathy Evans of Joplin, Missouri, one brother Harley Stumpff of Freeport, Texas, one sister Helen Hanson of Lawrenceville, Illinois, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd and two sisters; Lillian Holt and Mary Bradbury
Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Elk Falls Cemetery. Family visitation will be Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside - Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas.
