Ruby A Bagby's Obituary
Ruby A. Bagby, age 97, a resident of Owasso, Oklahoma died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Evergreen Nursing Facility in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of seven children born October 26, 1915 the daughter of Ner and Sadie Powell.
On October 28, 1940 Ruby was united in marriage to Karl R. Bagby in Fredonia, Kansas. Ruby was a homemaker and lifelong member of the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son Karl “Rick” R. Bagby, Jr and wife Anne of Owasso, Oklahoma; three granddaughters: Karla Snell of Owasso, Oklahoma, Michelle Berry and Jenny Winsky of McPherson, Kansas and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters.
Cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment will take place at the Fredonia City Cemetery at a later date. The family suggests contributions to First United Methodist Church of Fredonia and may be left in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, Kansas.
