Ruth Ellen Whiteside-Wright, 72 of Neodesha, Kansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
Ruth Ellen was welcomed into this world on September 17, 1952 in Fredonia, Kansas to Lester and Rebecca (Hubbard) Whiteside. In 2010 Ruth retired from Boeing in Wichita after 21 years of dedicated service. On June 30, 2007 Ruth married the love of her life, Dennis Wright in Wichita, Kansas. In 2014 Ruth and Dennis moved to Neodesha and made their home. Ruth was a devoted member of the Christ Church in Neodesha. Ruth also loved to hunt and fish, travel with her husband and take their camper out on adventures.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Rebecca Whiteside.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Wright of Neodesha, sons, Gabriel Sutton of Park City, Kansas, Trenton Sutton and wife Kristy of Wellington, Kansas, sister, Sandra Ruppert and husband, Bill of Wichita, Kansas, brother, George Whiteside and wife Kala of Valley Center, Kansas and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Per Ruth’s wishes cremation will take place with Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, Kansas and a Celebration of Ruth’s life will take place at the Neodesha Christ Church on Saturday, December 21st at 11:00 am.
