Rylan Matthew Gurney's Obituary
Rylan Matthew Gurney, age 3-1/2 months, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., surrounded by his family. Rylan was born April 29, 2014 in Chanute, KS the son of Christina Lynne Gurney.
Rylan is survived by his mother; Christina, siblings; Rachel Wilson, Brennan Cameron, grandmother; Vicki Gurney, godmother; Caitlin Gurney, aunt; Dawn Ribelin, cousins; Ceolah Colston, Brianna Gurney, Alexa Ribelin, and Jarity Ribelin.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather; Michael Gurney, and great-grandparents; Dorothy Raney, Shirley Gurney, Alfred Gurney, and Harry Rauhoff.
Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2014, 6-8 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 23, 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Chanute. Family suggests memorials to Children’s Mercy Hospital, and they may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
