Sandra Kay Simmons' Obituary
Sandra (Sandy) Kay Tucker Simmons was born to William Tucker and Helen Bulin in Plentywood, Montana on September 20, 1950. She left this world on October 8, 2024 in Fredonia, Kansas.
She married Paul Starr and to that union there were two children Shawn and Laurie Starr. She later married Curt Simmons. Worked as a Pediatric Nurse, until she retired in 2000.
Sandy loved swimming in the ocean, family gatherings, loved the little ones, playing piano, listening to music, driving fast cars, dancing, wind in her hair, and color purple.
She was preceded in death by her husband Curt Simmons, brother David Tucker, and granddaughter Kayla Starr.
Sandy is Survived by her sisters Liz Reynolds and Kim James both of Amarillo, Texas. Son Shawn Starr and daughter in law Vicki Starr, Fredonia, Kansas. Daughter Laurie Starr Independence, Kansas. Grandchildren Macie and Cannon Coffman, Havenn Hall, Amber Scaggs, Tanner and Sierra Starr, Joshue Fowler, Catlynn Black, and Katelyn Black. Great Grandchildren, Aleigha Lyons, Breah Lyons, Chayton Lyons, Cowan Coffman, Rilynn Hall, Saverynn Wood, Taitlynn Linn, Abel Cates, Makenna Harding, Hayden Harding, Jason Starr, and Josie Starr.
Cremation has been requested at this time.
Services are under the guidance of Countryside Funeral Home.
