Sarah Elizabeth Alter's Obituary
Sarah Elizabeth Alter, age 38 of Eureka, KS passed away March 22, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.
Sarah was born November 18, 1981 in Wichita, KS to Jonny and Linda (Hale) Alter. She grew up in Douglass alongside 4 sisters, graduating from Eureka High School, class of 2000.
Sarah loved boys and was always a giggly, shy young lady around them. She loved to dress up fancy, go to dances and have her picture taken. She enjoyed swimming and bowling for the Special Olympics.
As an adult, Sarah was proud to be living in her own apartment and loved having her “Kitty”, Tigger living with her. She had a huge heart and loved everyone she met. Family meant everything to her, especially her sister Tori.
Sarah is survived by her father, Jonny, and sisters, Tracey, Stacey, Tori, and Gini.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Hale.
Due to the health and safety circumstances we are currently in, there will be no public funeral.
Memorial contributions in Sarah’s name can be made to the Down Syndrome Society of Wichita, and can be mailed to the funeral home.
