Sean David Blaine-Ritz, age 41 of Fredonia, KS, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020.
Sean was born September 26, 1979 in Fredonia, KS to Steve and Betty Ritz. He grew up in Fredonia alongside 2 sisters, graduating from Fredonia High School in the class of 1998. After high school, Sean attended trade school in Beloit, and then truck driving school in Fort Scott. He drove for several companies over the years, and was currently driving a truck for Koehn Construction in Fredonia.
On December 12, 2017, Sean married Garrett Blaine. They were married until Garrett lost his battle with cancer in 2018. Sean had started dating Nelson Franco, and they were just one week away from starting their life together in Texas.
He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leland & Estella (Schneider) Bauman, Dave & Margie (Swank) Ritz, and great-aunt Bernice Ritz.
Cremation has been requested, with a Memory Sharing Celebration of Life being held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home, Fredonia, Kansas.
Memorial contributions in Sean’s name are suggested to the American Cancer Society and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
