Shannon Lee Miller's Obituary
Shannon Lee Miller, 47, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away on July 20, 2025.
He was born on May 9, 1978, in Iola, Kansas. Shannon was known for his quick sense of humor, deep devotion to his family, and unwavering loyalty to his friends. He worked with compassion along with a strong work ethic, both qualities that defined his career and relationships.
Shannon loved tinkering in his garage, reading, and learning new things alongside his kids. He found joy in building, creating, and spending time with those he loved most, including his three boys, Meric, Migo, and Merlin. Shannon treasured his close friends and adopted family.
Shannon is survived by his loving wife, Lindsey R. Miller; his children: Hayley L. Miller (Monster), Shayley M. Miller (Shrieker), Kara D. Schlueter (Lil Bit) and Brhett, Tristen F. Wood (Boy Wonder), Ganessa, Jalyn N. Johnson (Monkey); and Tim. His grandchildren: Paisley, Killian, Saylem, and Amelia. His Granny, Dorothy Dreasher, his Mother, Julie Sherman, and Henry, 5 uncles who he considered brothers, Scott Dreasher and Julie, John Dreasher and Lisa, Brad Dreasher, and Antoinette, and Brian Dreasher. His Wah Wah , Cindy Zimmerman, his Bobo, Zach Zimmerman, a father figure, Paul Sherman, and his 2 closest friends that were like brothers, Randy Kress and Skyler Spear.
He was preceded in death by his brother Zackary S. Miller, his Pop (grandfather) Robert L. Dreasher, Biological father, Rick Miller, and his Gram, Pat L. Cooper.
A celebration of Shannon’s life will be held at a later date in Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Redemption Animal Rescue in Hutchinson, KS, or NAMI of Reno County.
