Sharon Levonia (Broderick) Robertson's Obituary
Sharon Levonia (Broderick) Robertson, age 66, of Chanute, passed away November 25, 2014 in Joplin, MO. Sharon was born December 31, 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona the daughter of John and Levonia (Barefoot) Broderick.
Sharon married Rodney Robertson on August 25, 1972 in San Diego, CA. Sharon and Rodney were married for 42 years before he passed away in 2014. Sharon graduated from NCCC Nursing Program with a LPN. She worked as a nurse for NMRMC in Chanute, Neosho County Health Department and as a school nurse for USD 413. After retirement, Sharon enjoyed going to the Casinos with her friends.
Sharon is survived by her mother;a son, Bryan Robertson and wife Debbie of Gardener, KS; a daughter, Carrie Seuser of Chanute; 2 brothers, Steve Broderick of Phoenix and Johnney Broderick of Peoria, Arizona; grandchildren: Bailey, Bryson, Quintin Robertson and Jaiden and J’Lyne Seuser; 2 brother-in-laws: Bill Robertson and wife Sue and James Robertson; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Burton.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Rodney and a sister, Joan Freistroffer.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. at Thayer Christian Church in Thayer, KS. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Thayer Christian Church.
