Shawn Douglas Whittley's Obituary
Shawn Douglas Whittley, 31, of Thayer, KS., passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Shawn was born on July 24, 1992, in Tulsa, OK., the son of Tonya Jean Ogle and Timothy Randall Whittley.
Shawn was a graduate of Chanute High School, class of 2010.he also attended Neosho County Community College while in high school, and then began his career as a welder. Shawn enjoyed going fishing, hunting, and bowling, and being an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
On October 5, 2013, in Thayer, KS., Shawn married Cali Sue Raida, and she survives at their home. Shawn and Cali have three children: Trenton, Waylon, and Jaxon. Shawn was a fun-loving father and husband that will greatly be missed.

Shawn was preceded in death by a sister Jessica Raida, niece Serinity Bice, Great Grandfather Rex Ogle and his Best Friend Hunter Robinson.
Cremation has been requested and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the Thayer Christian Church. Memorials in Shawns memory have been suggested to either. The Whittley Children Education Fund or the Thayer Rec Commission and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
