Shirley Mae Breiner's Obituary
Shirley Mae Breiner, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Country Place Memory Care in Chanute, KS. Shirley was born on November 9, 1928 in Humboldt, Kansas the daughter of John Andrew and Zella Mae Horton Sebbert.
On September 1, 1950, Shirley married Warren Breiner in Wichita, KS. Shirley and Warren were married for 50 years before he passed away in 2001. Shirley was a member of the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Warren, a son, William Breiner, two brothers: Jack and Bob Sebbert, and three sisters: Kay Jackson, Arlys Sakata and Jane Wilkerson.
She is survived by a son: James Breiner and wife Bonnie of Oregon, a brother Gary Sebbert and wife Judy of Iowa, three grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Humboldt, KS. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt, KS.
Family requests memorials to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home at 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS.
