Shirley Jean Debler's Obituary
Shirley Jean (Crowder) Debler, 79, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her home in Chanute, KS. Shirley was born on October 16, 1935 in Neodesha, KS the daughter of Berthal Bill and Etta Irene (Eppers) Crowder.
Shirley graduated from Vilas High School. On October 15, 1955, Shirley married Ralph Debler at Bethel Lutheran Church in Vilas, KS. Together they had two children.
Shirley was a proud homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved spending time outdoors with the horses and enjoyed every moment she could on the farm. Shirley was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Chanute.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ralph.
She is survived by her two children: Danny Debler of Chanute and Cindy Culbertson of Chanute, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute. Visitation will be held Friday, August 14, 2015 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel.
Family requests memorials to Alzheimer's Association and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home at 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS.
