Shirley Mae (Dannels) Hartman age 78, of Andover, KS. passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Victoria Falls Nursing Home in Andover, KS. Shirley was born November 23, 1935 in Altoona, KS the daughter of Frank and Raverdeenah (Hardesty) Dannels.
Shirley married Garry Lee Hartman on February 14, 2007 in Andover, KS. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time gardening, fishing, crocheting, and doing embroidery work.
Shirley is survived by her husband Garry, daughters; Gayle Fritzemeier and husband Dan of Chanute, KS, Debra Davis and husband Terry of Andover, KS., son; Brent Ledford and wife Robin of California, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Raverdeenah, three sisters, one brother, daughters; Sandra Briley, and Angie Pope, son Robert Joy, and grandson Matthew Fritzemeier.
Cremation has been requested and the family will be holding a memorial service Friday January 3, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Victoria Falls Nursing Home (activities center) 224 E. Central, Andover, KS 67002. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials to Harry Hynes Hospice and may be left with or sent to the funeral home.
