Travis, I never got to know your mom, but she sounds like a pretty cool person. Our hearts and prayers are with you, Hannah and Mackenzie, and the rest of your family. May her memory be eternal, and may your memories of her bring you comfort.

Maybe not the fondest memory but definitely a memorable one. We both worked in the kitchen together at the hospital. Well her eyes were bothering her so she went to her locker to get her eye drops. Shirley had such stuff as eye drops, super glue, lotion..... etc. Shirley went back to the diet clerks area and proceeded to put a few drops in her eye. All of a sudden I heard an exclamation. She had accidentally put in super glue instead of the eye drops. We got her down to the emergency room and after a while she came back. The whole thing could have been much worse than what it was. An EMT remarked that it was good thing she was such a bad aim. Most of the glue was on her eyelid and on her lashes.
