Sonia Ann Henson age 49 of Iola, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Allen County Hospital in Iola. Sonia was born October 17, 1960 to Jim and Nita (Linder) Henson, in Topeka, Kansas
Sonia participated in the Special Olympics, doing such events as running and the ball throwing competitions. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going bowling with her family and friends.

Sonia was preceded in death by her twin sister Tonya Henson, and grandparents Dave and Gladys Linder, and Jim Shields.
Funeral services will be held Friday November 27, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Calvary Wesleyan Church in Fredonia with burial to follow at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church 1 hour prior to service time. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Kidney Foundation, and may be sent to the funeral home.
