Steven Mitchell Hosfelt's Obituary
Steven “Hoss” Mitchell Hosfelt, age 54, of Chanute, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his home. Steven was born on May 29, 1962 in Chanute, KS, the son of Bill Hosfelt and Shirley Hosfelt Clemens.
Steve graduated from Chanute High School in 1980 and started his career as a machinist at Churchill Oil Pump Manufacturing in Chanute. He worked as a machinist in several manufactories over his 27 year career before he was disabled due to heath issues in 2010.
Steve’s Passion was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, which he has been unable to do for the last 6 years. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Bill Hosfelt in 1986 and his step father Robert Clemens in July of 2016.
Cremation has been requested. A memorial service will take place on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Countryside Funeral Home, Johnson Chapel.
