Susan Louise Howell, 84, of Grenola, KS, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 in Wichita, KS. Louise was born on September 30, 1932 in Grenola, KS, the daughter of Otto Terry and Cora (Crawford) Terry. Louise married Jerry Norman Howell on March 21, 1953 in Bentonville, AR. They had three children, James, Martin, and Cheri. Louise lived in Grenola most of her life and was a homemaker to her husband and three children. During Jerry’s retirement years, they enjoyed traveling, going to Bingo, playing dominoes and going for walks with their grandson. Jerry and Louise passed away within three days of each other. They had been married for 64 years. Survivors include son, Martin (Pamela) Howell of Wichita; daughter, Cheri Howell of Winfield; grandson, Justin (Rhonda) Howell of Wichita; great-granddaughters, Rachel and Roslyn Howell; brothers, Marvin Leroy Terry, Robert Dwain Terry, Willard Terry, sisters, Berdina Terry and Linda Stevenson. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, James Ellis Howell, and sister, Lorene Mitchell. There are no services planned at this time.
