Susan Rae (Lasswell) Krone's Obituary
Susan Rae (Lasswell) Krone, age 68, of Humboldt, KS passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 at her home. Susan was born on March 8, 1948 in Madera, California, the daughter of Emma Margaret (Russell)Lasswell and Benjamin Raymond Lasswell.
On January 16, 1971, Susan was united in marriage to Darrell Leon Krone in Madera, California and to this union were born two daughters, Heidi Jean and Raeleen Jo.
Susan was a homemaker who worked a short time in the clothing industry as a seamstress. Her true passion was craftwork which included sewing and embroidery, quilting, crocheting and knitting. Susan also loved to play the piano. She had many friends across the miles that she made through social media. One of her greatest passions was watching the old black and white movies especially if they starred John Wayne.
Susan was involved in various clubs and organizations throughout her lifetime and was most active as a member of the Lion’s Club. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.

Hannah Henry, Bo Henry, Noah Kaplan, and Harold Henry
Susan was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter, Krista Capri Kaplan.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Inurnment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Humboldt, Kansas.
