Tammie Lee Williams' Obituary
Tammie L. Williams (McClendon), age 37, of Howard, Kansas born January 10, 1971 in Lawrence, KS to Leland McClendon and Judy (Brown) Faulkner began her eternal life November 17th, 2008.
Never loosing faith and always having hope, Tammie fought for her survival against metastic cervical cancer. Weakened by the disease, chemotherapy and their effects, she submitted her body and found salvation as she transfigured into one of our Lord’s Angels.
Tammie was preceded in passing by her Great Grandparents, Grandparents, two uncles and two aunts.
Tammie is survived by; her companion, partner, and best friend, Kevin Craig of the home. Her 5 children: James McClendon of El Dorado, Jackie Williams of Basehor. Destanie Williams, Matthew Warren and Eleashia Warren of the home. One granddaughter Lydia King of Chanute. Her Grandparents Fred & Shirley Schulmeyer of Fall River, Her father Leland McClendon and companion Paulette Place of Lawrence. Her mother Judy Faulkner and step father Greg Faulkner of Severy. Two sisters: Frances Sexton and her husband Darin and their 3 children of El Dorado and Belinda Sanders and her husband Eric and their 4 children of Centerville, KS.
Her cousin by blood; brother by heart Robert ‘Bobby†Brown and his wife Michelle and their 8 children. Numerous cousins and countless friends.
A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Countryside Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held after the service Saturday at the funeral home. Family suggests contributions to the Tammie L. Williams memorial fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th St., Fredonia, KS.
