Thomas Kenneth Schultz's Obituary
Thomas Kenneth Schultz, age 69, of Chanute, KS passed away on July 27, 2015 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita, KS. Thomas was born September 13, 1945 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Arthur and Sylvia (Machesky) Schultz.
He spent 2 years in the Army and was honorably discharged. Thomas worked for Waukesha Sheriff’s Department as a Lieutenant in corrections for 24 years. He was Patrol officer in Ixonia for 5 years, and in the Fredonia Jail Administration for 3 years. Thomas loved to fish, hunt, play cribbage, dart ball, and working on old muscle cars. He enjoyed sitting outside spending time with his dogs and on his computer.
Thomas is survived by his wife; Teresa Schultz of the home, sons; Jeff Schultz and wife Christin, Greg Schultz and wife Melissa, Gary Schultz and wife Abbey, daughter; Paula Jones, grandchildren Zoey and Holden Schultz, Linus and Bella Jones, Chelsey De La Torre, Andreas De La Torre, Shaniqua Hazelton, and great-grandchildren; Zayden Hamilton, and Mi’Kaiel De La Torre.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Arthur and Sylvia, brother; Ronny Schultz, and niece Sheryl Schultz.
Cremation has taken place and the family will be holding services at a later date in Wisconsin.
