Timothy David Elliott's Obituary
Timothy (Tim) David Elliott, 66 of Parsons, Kansas, passed away Saturday, March 8,2025 at his sister’s home in Chanute, KS. He was born on December 7, 1958, in Winfield, Kansas, the son of Gerald W. and Glenice A. (Hill) Elliott. The family moved to Parsons, Kansas in 1962, where Tim grew up.
Tim graduated from Parsons Senior High School in 1977. He lived and worked in Parsons until 2024 when he moved to Erie, KS. He was a machinist at IMI Business Forms, Curtis 1000, Sun Graphics, Flesh Company and Individual Mausoleum and in later years at Pitstop Liquor.
Tim married Vickie Baum in December of1979 and later divorced in 2016. They had two children, Sarah in 1980 and Jessica in 1983. They also, helped raise Keenan Smith, whom Tim liked to call his “grandson.” He coached his daughter’s Little Sisters (Foursquare) Softball Team.
Tim enjoyed woodworking, rebuilding old cars, and saltwater reef tanks and fish. He was handy at fixing things. He could talk to anyone and had a warm smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Sarah Jo Elliott. He is survived by his daughter Jessica, of Parsons, his sister, Kathy Carlson (Kenny), of Chanute, KS and brother Michael Elliott of Springfield, Missouri and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Cremation has taken place, and his ashes will be buried at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Parsons, KS. There will be a short service at the patio in the cemetery on Friday, March 21,2025 at 1pm.
