Timothy Flock Taliaferro's Obituary
Timothy Flock Taliaferro, age 53, passed away, June 22, 2014 at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute. Timothy was born on June 30, 1960 in Winfield, KS the son of Raymond Taliaferro and Mary (Flock) Taliaferro Hukle.
On August 1, 1987 Tim married Phyllis Anne Spurrier in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Timothy enjoyed being a HAM radio operator and being a storm spotter for the National Weather Service. Tim also liked to spend time praying for other people with needs. His favorite thing to do was spending time with his two daughters and his wife.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Taliaferro, his mother; Mary, his daughters; Christine Wild and husband Chris of Tulsa, OK, Haley Schattuck and husband Paul of Chanute, KS, his brothers; Marty Taliaferro and wife Helen of Severy, KS, Dana Taliaferro and wife Christal of Severy, KS, and Scott Taliaferro of Wichita, KS.
He was preceded in death by his father; Raymond.
Graveside Services will be held June 26, 2014 10:30 a.m. at the South Lawn Cemetery in Severy, KS. The family suggests memorials to Church of Christ in Chanute and the American Diabetes Association and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
